Putting the hard drive inside the casing.

Well it’s been a few days of trial and error, but it seems that my hard drive has died in my computer and I must reinstall windows 7 onto a brand new hard drive. I thought I would write a series of blog posts while I do this as a little bit of fun and just to document the procedure. So, the first part is to take the hard drive out of the computer and put it into a little casing so that we can get the information off of it via USB. This will allow me to not only backup a lot of my data but to also locate the drivers necessary to load onto the new hard drive and support the new operating system installation.
